While all the other drugs including weeds are heavily restricted in Korea, alcohol is widely and socially accepted.

Street drinking is allowed, you’ll discover sometimes people casually drink beers at the park or outside the convenience store.

Outside of Korea, people mix spirits with non alcohol drinks such as juice or soda, but Korean people usually mix alcohol with another alcohol. (Please don’t ask me why, because Koreans are alcoholics and people drink to get drunk, sometimes quickly get drunk. sigh)

Major Brands Beer - Cass, Terra, Hite, etc.

You’d probably find them quite bland, people usually mix it with soju, the most common mix called “so-maek”.
